��Cheboksary (Russian: ���������; Chuvash: �������� (Shupashkar)) is a city in Russia, capital of the Chuvash Republic, a port on the Volga River. Its geographical location is 56�08 N 47�14 E. Population: 453,700 (2004 est.); 440,621 (2002 Census). There is a satellite city Novocheboksarsk about six kilometers east with a population of 125,857 (2002 Census).
